BUSINESS CLASS:ETIHAD AIRWAYS has offered its business class passengers a free Audi A4 to drive themselves to Dublin Airport.

The offer is available to the airline’s passengers in the Munster area. From this week, Etihad pearl business class customers travelling to Abu Dhabi or beyond from Cork or Shannon will be offered the car.

Passengers can pick up the car from the Hertz desk at both airports and drop the car off at Dublin Airport without the inconvenience of having to find a parking spot or pay at least €25 a day in the short-stay car park for parking.

To avail of the service, passengers will have to pay at least €1,999 for a single ticket to Ethiad’s principal destinations – Abu Dhabi and Dubai – rising to €3,499 for travel to destinations in New Zealand, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Andrew Doyle, the managing director of Audi Ireland, said the upgrade of the road network between Dublin, Cork and Limerick meant that travel time has been greatly reduced and the offer was perfect for customers who wish to “arrive in style at their destination”.

Etihad Airways operates 10 services per week between Dublin’s Terminal 2 and its home base in Abu Dhabi.

From Abu Dhabi it offers flights to 72 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa, Australia and Asia.
