Show time for fashionistas

Dublin Fashion Week (actually four days) opens on Monday and runs until Thursday

Dublin Fashion Week (actually four days) opens on Monday and runs until Thursday. For the first time, most of the events will be open to the public, such as a collective salon show (€49.95, tickets can be purchased online), a pop-up boutique (free), and “In Conversation” talks with Paul Costelloe and with Amanda Pratt of Avoca (€10).

Guests at the fashion show in the Westbury Hotel will see current collections from Paul Costelloe, Lainey Keogh (whose spring-summer collection is pictured here), Joanne Hynes, Richard Lewis, Anthology and Rachel Mackey, among others, while Peter O'Brien will host a champagne reception and viewing of the 1939 George Cukor movie The Womenwith Joan Crawford about a wealthy woman whose husband is having an affair with a female shop assistant.
