Carton House wedding belles

Next Saturday, January 19th, Carton House in Maynooth will be the setting for a wedding show with a Champagne reception, music by the Swing Cats and a fashion show by Couture Bridal. Irish designers will include Patrick Casey and Myrtle Ivory, joining other wedding suppliers.

Eimear Young, wedding co-ordinator at Carton House, will be offering a selection of key trends for brides-to-be planning their wedding. These include DIY weddings, mid-week weddings, Pinterest as a source of inspiration, cocktail stations rather than Champagne receptions, wedding apps, and bridal styles for 2013. 2-5pm, admission free, see cartonhouse.com.
