Niamh Russell makes her mark at Kilkenny

CLOTHES LINES: Kilkenny's new buyer Niamh Russell is certainly making her mark on the store

CLOTHES LINES:Kilkenny's new buyer Niamh Russell is certainly making her mark on the store. Fresh from studying fashion in LSAD, she landed her first job with Calvin Klein in New York before heading home.

At Kilkenny she is buying with a keen eye, but is also ruthless about standards: if products aren't up to scratch, she sends them back.

At the moment, there's a terrific selection of coats, some great white shirts and jackets from Eva Kayan, and a funky line of pleated chiffon blouses by JJ Park from London.

Along with European labels, Kilkenny is a major stockist of Irish designers, such as Quin and Donnelly, Aideen Bodkin and Sophie Rieu's Unicorn.
