Spacious suburban five-bed for £750,000

If there is one thing suburban houses built in the 1970s have, it is space. Looking at the houses built during that time, it is easy to see why they are often described as ideal family homes.

Number 24 Deerpark Avenue in Castleknock is a typical 1970s house but, with five bedrooms and one-third of an acre of landscaped gardens, it is larger than the norm. It will be auctioned by Lisneys on July 5th, which is guiding £750,000. The floor area of the house is a little below 3,000 sq ft. There is a large L-shaped lounge, a room-sized hall with parquet flooring and a separate kitchen and dining room.

Upstairs all of the five bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and there are two bathrooms. Nearly all of the rooms have very large picture windows.

Outside, the large garden has been professionally landscaped and there is a double garage.
