Gunne Residential has dropped the asking price of a detached bungalow on over half an acre at Old Bray Road, Cabinteely in the hope of effecting a quick sale.

Sarnath, a spacious four-bedroom house, is now on the market at £650,000 (€825,329), down £50,000 (€63,486) on its original selling price, according to sales agent Robin Palmer. It is for sale by private treaty.

The 1,800 sq ft house is in good decorative order with polished timber floors throughout and a big sunny kitchen/breakfastroom with built-in country style limed oak units. Off the hall is a large livingroom/diningroom with patio doors to the back garden. All four bedrooms are comfortable doubles and share a family bathroom that is prettily decorated with Victorian style fittings.

The gardens are extremely well kept and private. The long front garden is just the right size for a tennis court - and has been used as such - while the back garden stretches to around 190 ft.
