Four show units will be on view from today at Stepaside Park as 39 apartments go on sale in the south county Dublin McGarrell Reilly development.

This phase comprises mainly two-bedroom apartments in a variety of shapes and sizes, which are being sold through agents Ross McParland.

The only one-bedroom apartment in the development is 550 sq ft and costs £169,000 (€214,630).

The apartments are situated to the rear of a development of 110 detached houses surrounded by extensive green areas and landscaping.

There are 24 apartments ranging in size from 785 to 840 sq ft. Prices run from £198,000 to £219,000 (€251,460 to €278,130).

They have a large living area with a PVC door to a balcony with metal surround. A maple fireplace with a slate inset, coving and deep low window-sills are features of the living area.

The kitchen is standard as per show apartment with Shaker-style units with chrome fittings and polished granite worktops. There are a range of Neff electrical appliances as standard including fridge-freezer, integrated dishwasher, a stainless-steel chimney cooker-hood, built-in single oven, ceramic stainless-steel hob and integrated washer-dryer. The kitchen also features co-ordinated wall tiling.

There are two double bedrooms, both of which feature fitted wardrobes. The main room has an en suite shower room.

There are five apartment blocks in total. The apartments on sale in this phase are the remaining units in blocks one to three, and then blocks four and five.

Also available are 10 penthouses, two of which are on show at the development. The penthouses range in size from 1,260 to 1,604 sq ft. The first penthouse is priced at £320,000 (€406,316). This apartment has a vast livingroom with a cut sandstone fireplace, spotlighting and a sliding door to a timber-decked balcony. There is a separate Shaker-style kitchen with redbrick-effect tiling.

The main bedroom has Ssliderobes, an en suite shower room and a side door to timber-decked balcony. The second bedroom is also a double. The main bathroom features marble tiling. There is a study and good storage area.

The second show penthouse is larger and is priced at £450,000 (€571,382), to include contents. One of the most impressive features of this apartment is the large skylight in the lobby which floods the area with natural light. There is also a diningroom located in the tower section of the building which features a 15ft ceiling. The sitting area has a sandstone fireplace and doors to a large timber-decked balcony. The study is larger in this unit and has a door to the balcony.

The penthouse suites range from £314,000 (€398,697) to £425,000 (€539,638) and all have two bedrooms.

In addition, there are four larger two-beds on sale. These units range in size from 1,000 to 1,065 sq ft and all feature a study. These four units are priced from £245,000 (€311,085) to £247,000 (€313,625).

Stepaside Park has a yellow-brick exterior. The blocks features a series of peaks and towers. The management fee has not yet been decided but will be in the region of £500 to £600 (€635to €762)a year .
