From Donnybrook, Dún Laoghaire and Rathmines in Dublin to Kilkenny, there is plenty to see this weekend

- In Rathmines, Dublin 6, a Victorian villa-style house at 29 Leinster Road is new to the market with Savills asking €1.425m by private treaty.

Like many homes of this design, it’s deceptively spacious, with 202sq m (2,174sq ft) of living space, and a garden that is almost 80ft long to the rear. It’s a listed house, rich in period detail, but also in need of a good deal of work. A flight of granite steps leads to the front door which opens into a lofty hallway. There are basically four large rooms at this level, a pair on either side of the hallway, and each pair interconnecting. On one side is a drawingroom and diningroom, on the other side are two bedrooms.

The ground floor has two further bedrooms, an attractive study and a kitchen. There is good potential to extend.
