A former rectory in Enniskerry, a two-bed mews in D6 and an unusual period terraced house in Rathmines are amongst houses on view this weekend

New to the market in Enniskerry is Cedar Lodge, a Victorian four-bedroom house that for many years has been the rectory for Enniskerry. It’s being sold by the Church of Ireland with joint agents Gordon Lennox and Colliers seeking €750,000.

The sale has come about becuase the combined parishes of Powerscourt and Kilbride have decided to build a new rectory beside St Patrick’s church in Enniskerry. €950,000 is the price tag on a four-bedroom detached house at Riversdale Avenue off Bushy Park Road in Rathgar that’s just come on the market through Savills. Karmainu is a 1940s house with some nice original features and a generous 205sq m (2,200sq ft) of living space.

However, it needs an update and there is plenty of scope to extend in the good-sized back garden.
