New to the market in Enniskerry is Cedar Lodge, a Victorian four-bedroom house that for many years has been the rectory for Enniskerry. It’s being sold by the Church of Ireland with joint agents Gordon Lennox and Colliers seeking €750,000.

The sale has come about becuase the combined parishes of Powerscourt and Kilbride have decided to build a new rectory beside St Patrick’s church in Enniskerry. Located on Cookstown Road, just outside the village, Cedar Lodge is is set on close to half an acre of gardens which have been opened to the public as part of the annual Wicklow Gardens Festival. The extended Victorian lodge has four bedrooms in a total of 154.31sq m (1,661sq ft) of living space. There are some useful outbuildings too.
