BARGAIN HUNTER:DESIGNER Mary Ryder is holding a one-day sale to sell off furniture (like the sofa, right) originally bought for showhouses. The stock is reduced by between 30 and 50 per cent.

The sale takes place this Saturday, November 27th from 9am-1pm in Store It, Ballymount Cross, Industrial Estate, Dublin 24. The warehouse is adjacent to Tilestyle; there will be signage in place on the day to show Bargain Hunters where to go, or call 086-8115793 for directions.

Avail of the opportunity to invest in her sleek two-and-a-half-seater made-to-measure sofa – available in a choice of 40 linen-look colours. You choose the height and depth of the seat as well as your choice of fillings. This sofa is down 30 per cent, from €2,800 to €1,960.

The sale includes several contemporary fireplaces that run on bio-ethanol and can be used in any room in the house. The black-frame Plaza fireplace is reduced from €2,650 down to €1,855.

Firedot is another circular design that can be used indoors or outdoors. It was €1,460 and is now €1,150. Pre-Christmas delivery is available on all orders placed on the day.
