New prices on antiques

SEAN EACRETT Antiques (057-8626290) in Ballybrittas, outside Portlaoise in Co Laois has several cracking antique pieces reduced to clear.

An early 20th century brass and crystal six-branch chandelier was €650 and is now €320; a regency sleigh bed, 5ft wide and 72 inches long with a solid base, was €2,200 and is now €900; a 6ft long William IV mahogany couch, reupholstered in cream self-patterned damask (pictured), was €3,900 and is now €2,200; and a mahogany late 19th century ladies desk, with new pale green leather and gold tooling, was €2,750 and is now €1,100.
