Solomon's Outlet (041-9842429, solomonsoutlet.ie) at Unit 8, in Drogheda Industrial Park, on Donore Road, Drogheda, Co Louth, has a selection of painted wood furniture in European royal court styles reduced to clear. A cream painted Victoria heart-shape chair upholstered in an antique rose gold fabric has been reduced from €315 to €165.
In its Chateaux collection, an Emily chair, a solid mahogany design with handcarved detailing, in a selection of damask upholstery options, was €299 and is now €159 each. A cream Vienna dressing table set (above) with stool is down from €950 to €425. A five-foot bed from the same collection has been reduced from €1,350 to €725. A full-length French-style mirror was €525 and is now €289. The outlet is open each Friday and Saturday, 10am-5.30pm, Sunday and bank holidays 1pm-5.30pm.
