BARGAIN HUNTER:THE last of the stock from Eminence, a shop that once sold expensive Oriental and Italian furniture in Glasthule, Co Dublin, is being sold off by liquidator Cathal McHugh at discounts of up to 77 per cent.

The showroom at Unit B3, Calmount Business Park, Dublin 12 (near the Ballymount exit off the M50) is open today from 10am-6pm. The furniture is also available to view by appointment. One of the star pieces is a dining table by Italian firm Ceccotti reduced by 75 per cent to €3,585. Eigth matching dining chairs have also been cut by 75 per cent from €2,084 each to €516 each. The matching Whity three-legged table was €9,496 and is now €2,341.

A good lounge buy is the Divine Recliner, above, a deep pile velvet upholstered chair and matching stool whose frames and legs are upholstered in nubuck. The stool was €3,260 and is now down 77 per cent to €744. The matching chair was €5,477 and is also reduced by 77 per cent to €1,250. A pair of Eclipse two-tier, pendant wall lights made from horsehair fabric and buffalo horn drops have been reduced 77 per cent from €1,772 to €404. There’s also a pair of American walnut shelves stained in wenge with pewter connector rings. These were €12,271. for the two and are now €3,037 for the set. All pieces are available for immediate pick-up.
