Crystal clear

Having made his name in fashion and theatre design, Peter O’Brien is now putting his mark on glass. His new collection for Tipperary Crystal will launch next Thursday, in House of Fraser, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14.

He will be in store to sign pieces from the range from 6pm-8pm. Named after couture terms such as plissé(pleated), rayure(stripe), and fil(thread), the collections, priced from €10 to €50, comprise a set of six wine glasses and a combination of vases, bowls and votives that are as elegant in conception as his clothing lines. Next month, Tipperary will debut O'Brien's collection of bone china embellished with delicate lace motifs.
