Clearing transparent chairs

FRANK MCGOWAN Furniture (01-8706100) has great value on floor model furniture, which has been reduced to clear in its summer sale. A selection of Calligaris dining sets, including a smart round table with four transparent orange dining chairs, is down from €1,599 to €639. A Christian Harold rectangular table and six chairs are down from €2,409 to €959. And a double Apollo Memory bed by Respa with two drawers and headboard is €499, down from €1,225.

Domino topples in price

DOMINO DESIGN (01-2866094) has 30 per cent off its best-selling painted kitchen, for orders placed before July 24th. It usually costs from €12,000 but has a starting price of €8,400 for the next month.

Domino also has a black high-gloss Studio display kitchen, reduced from €10,600 to €5,200. This price includes a single oven, integrated fridge-freezer, ceramic hob and extractor, all by Gorenge, as well as 60mm quartz worktops and splashback.

The price includes delivery and installation within the greater Dublin area.

Domino is at Oldcourt Industrial Estate on Boghall Road in Bray, Co Wicklow.

Weave a cool look

FLANAGANS has some Lloyd Loom Gondola armchairs in white, at its stores in Buncrana, Co Donegal (074-9362000) and Mount Merrion, (01-2880218) in Dublin. These are now just over half-price, reduced from €995 to €495. Other Lloyd Loom chairs are available to order at sale prices until Monday, June 28th.

The Emma, which was €385, is now €295; the Francis was €545 and is now €435, and the Sydney has been reduced from €495 to €395. All are indoor chairs and are available in 12 different colours.

The outdoor St Tropez style has also been reduced. It was €495 and is now €395. It comes in six different shades.

Delivery on all orders is 12 weeks, although there is a small selection of these styles in limited colours available to buy off the floor. Also in these stores is an oak-veneer Hannover lamp table, down from €195 to €95.

Meal deals in Laura Ashley sale

LAURA ASHLEYs sale starts today at branches nationwide. The contemporary Refectory collection has been reduced by 50 per cent.

The dining table was €1,440 and is now €720; the matching bench is down from €560 to €280 and the pair of upholstered dining chairs were €640 and are now €320.

The rather smart breakfast console comes with a pair of stools that sit underneath it when not in use. It was €1,360 and is now €680.

has a half-price clearance of floor stock of Irish-made bed brands King Koil, Keymed and Odearest in its two stores at 61-63 South Main Street in Wexford Town (053-9143140) and Castlebridge in Co Wexford (053-9159841).

The King Koil 5ft Tiffany divan set comes with 2,800 pocket springs and is reduced by 40 per cent from €2,530 to €1,519.

A five-foot Kaymed Stockholm divan with memory foam topper was €2,539 and is now half price, at €1,269.

Lighten up at Hicken

HICKEN LIGHTING (1800-777077) has up to 50 per cent off display furniture and mirrors in its summer sale, which starts this Saturday at 9.30am.
