There are 30 apartments left at Tassagard Greens in Saggart, Co Dublin, a 101-unit development beside the new 18-hole executive golf course at Citywest which will be opened on Saturday by Christy O'Connor Junior.

Three turreted four-storey stone and redbrick blocks make up the development - The Sacra, The Swift and The Slade. Four of the remaining apartments, including two penthouse suites, are in the Slade which has views of the golf course, while the rest are in the Swift, which overlooks the landscaped courtyard and Saggart Church.

At the initial launch in May last year, over 40 apartments were sold off the plans.

Prices for the penthouses range from £460,000 to £600,000 (#584,000#761,840) and for the two-bedroom apartments from £210,000 to £250,000 (#266,640-#317,430).

Tassagard Greens is the first Melbury developments venture, although one of the partners was involved in the construction of the nearby Citywest hotel.

Tassagard Greens is also close to the Citywest Championship Golf Course, Saggart Village and the amenities of Citywest Hotel and Leisure complex.

The two-bed apartments are around 1,000 sq ft. They generally comprise a large livingroom with marble fireplace. The fitted kitchen comes with integrated fridge freezer, microwave, oven, hob and washer/dryer. The shower room is fully tiled and each apartment has one en suite bedroom.

The penthouses are 1,550 sq ft to 2,600 sq ft. The larger version has a living/ diningroom with a polished teak spiral staircase leading up to a mezzanine with 17 ft cathedral ceilings. A dining table for 10 is tucked beneath the gallery. A piano in the show apartment is placed in the turreted corner of the livingroom which has several windows. Patio doors lead to a large balcony overlooking the golf course.

The kitchen is cream in French country style, with wine racks and integrated sink units and granite worktops.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has a large en suite. Also off the main bedroom is a dressingroom with shelving and a Velux window. There are two car-parking spaces allocated to each apartment and electronic gates at the scheme's entrance.
