IF LIFE STORIES can be told by wearing art on the heart, the T-shirt has become the equivalent of a poster, a blank canvas for striking sartorial slogans or images. For its campaign to highlight climate change, Oxfam commissioned five Irish fashion designers and four international illustrators, including Dublin-based Chris Judge, to come up with their own interpretations for a limited edition T-shirt collection.

The results, called We Are Tee, printed on 100 per cent Fair Trade organic cotton, for both women and men, will be launched next Friday in association with the Dublin Festival of Fashion. The T-shirts cost between €25 and €35 and can be bought online from oxfamireland.org and turtlehead.ie, as well as from participating stores from Friday. All proceeds will go to Oxfam Ireland.
