Fans of Velvet Underground, My Bloody Valentine, The Stooges and New York Dolls could do so much worse than check out this fine Dublin band. While the name might bring on an instant barrage of reference points, there's no doubt that Sweet Jane transcend their influences by being bang on the money. The primary case in point is their recently released debut album, Sugar for My Soul,which manages to blend loaded psych rock and a sweet-natured dream-pop disposition with a clear affinity for the rockier, sludgier end of Americana.

As if the aforementioned wasn’t good enough, this gig features special guest slots from two very promising up-and-coming Irish acts: Kowalski and Clockwork Noise.
