Dublin hip-hop crew Workin' Class Records is on a bit of a roll of late. True, it was unfortunately featured on Ireland's Rappers, that terrible RTÉ documentary which willfully missed the point about Irish hip-hop in favour of caricaturing the participants.

But Workin’ Class doesn’t need to rely on the small screen misrepresentation to make a point. Recently, the label has seen Lethal Dialect move up a couple of levels with his latest album, LD50 Part 2, and it’s now set to bring a new record by James Costello to the masses.

Those who follow the north Dublin hip-hop scene will know Costello (below) from his association with Street Literature, but new album Illiosophical, which is launched tonight, sees him very much following his own star.
