What would Reel News do without stupid lists? The two polls worth attending to this week were People Magazine's Sexiest Man of the Year and, containing sadder news for the movie community, Film Threat's Frigid 50: The Coldest People in Hollywood.

To the astonishment of everybody - bar, perhaps, Mr and Mrs Damon Sr of Cambridge, Massachusetts - Matt Damon was placed at the top of People's list.

"You've given an ageing suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime," nice old Matt quipped. Also in the top 10 were Patrick Dempsey, Ryan Reynolds, Brad Pitt and some bloke called Shemar Moore.

Film Threat mischievously put George Bush at the top (or should that be bottom?) of their chart, before going on to offer bad news to, in order of frigidity, Angelina Jolie, Jim Carrey, "Comedies Not Associated with Judd Apatow" and (ouch!) Owen Wilson.
