Button Factory, Dublin Sat 7.30pm €18 01-6709202The Swedish act that made whistling fashionable again ( if not de rigueur) return with a new album ( Living Thing) that demonstrates the title of their 2006 indie hit album, Writer's Block, was definitely a misnomer.

ot that they've been twiddling their thumbs since then, either; between instrumental records ( Seaside Rock), solo albums ( Peter Moren's The Last Tycoon), production work (Bjorn Yttling's Swedish Grammy-nominated studio work for Lykke Li and Primal Scream, to name but two) and side projects (John Eriksson's Hortlax Cobra), it's clear that they have more irons in the fire than Beelzebub himself. Yet the sum here is greater than the constituent parts, which is why having the trio back and playing a small venue (before the inevitable announcement of summer festival dates, we reckon) is one of the season's highlights. An added bonus: the hotly tipped First Aid Kit are special guests.
