Moneypenny gets a new makeover

Miss Moneypenny is back

Miss Moneypenny is back. M's Bond-hungry secretary – in the mind-bogglingly sexist world of Fleming's books, "spinsters" were fair game – last graced a 007 film in 2002's Die Another Day.

It has been announced that talented Naomie Harris will essay the role in Sam Mendes’s as yet untitled espionage adventure. It is reasonable to assume that the new Ms Moneypenny will be treated with a little more respect. No bad thing.
