Being dubbed the "21st- century Madonna" does no one any favours, but you can see why people have lumbered Lady GaGa (we think her passport might have her down as Joanne Stefani Germanotta) with the label. Though very much her own person, she shares with Madonna a singular sensibility in the areas of fashion and music. And the New York native has, ahem, a strong sense of self: her ultimate goal, apparently, is to have a Lady GaGa exhibition at the Louvre. Ego, however, is not unwarranted: yes, by this stage we're all fed up with Just Dance, but it's still a groover of a tune, and she's got plenty more where that came from – all of which she will no doubt be performing at this sold-out, hot-ticket gig.
