Let’s be honest. We might rant about the media’s obsession with Sarah Palin, but we continue to mop up every scandalous nugget concerning the former Alaska governor and putative presidential candidate.

With that in mind, cheers go up at the news that Nick Broomfield, posh director of documentaries on Kurt Cobain and Heidi Fleiss, has finished his own study of the moose-hunting right-winger. The as-yet untitled film will, one assumes, treat Ms Palin with greater robustness than forthcoming hagiography The Undefeated.
