Yeah, yeah, yeah. Reports of 3D's demise might (by this column, for starters) have been greatly exaggerated. After a few episodes that stalled at the box office, the Sawfranchise returned with a vengeance last weekend. The combined UK and Irish takings for Saw 3D– a whopping €2.9 million – were by far the biggest ever for a film in the horror series. Might the studio now reconsider its decision to kill off the enterprise?
