The coroner’s report on Tony Scott’s death has put one rumour to bed.

In the aftermath of the director’s apparent suicide in August, stories emerged that he had recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour. The report confirmed that Scott, who jumped from a bridge in Los Angeles harbour, did have non-toxic traces of anti-depressants and sleeping medication in his system, but there was no mention of any cancer.
