Filmbase, the admirable facility in Dublin’s Temple Bar, is launching a new event at which the makers of short films can get together to screen and discuss their latest work.

ShortSpace, as the project is named, will kick off at 7pm on Thursday, September 2nd, in Filmbase’s premises on Curved Street.

Films to be screened on the opening night include The Crushby Michael Creagh, Corduroy by Hugh O'Conor and The Doorby Juanita Wilson. That last film was, of course, nominated for an Oscar earlier this year.
