A few days after Paul Murray's novel Skippy Dieswas included on the long- list for the Man Booker Prize, it was announced that Neil Jordan will direct a film version.
An alumnus of the prestigious creative writing course at the University of East Anglia, Murray, also the author of
An Evening of Long Goodbyes,
is one of Ireland’s most promising comic writers. Jordan tells us that the film will feature considerable shooting here.
