Milly to the Rescue

Once upon a time, in a different world, there was a dragon called Billy. He was a small, red, cute baby dragon. Billy lived in a forest beside a lake. There were crocodiles in the lake. Billy was afraid of the lake because the crocodiles had eaten his mammy and daddy. Billy’s big sister – Milly – looked after him.

One day, Billy heard some furious barking. He saw a dog in the lake – but the crocodiles had seen him too. Billy decided to try and rescue the dog. Milly was a shapeshifter dragon, so she became a boat. Milly and Billy saved the dog. He was a small brown dog with dark brown eyes. The dog’s name was Wow Wow. He was soaking wet and shivering.

Wow Wow barked a thank you to Billy and Milly.

“I can’t believe the dog fell in the lake,” Milly said to Billy.

Milly turned back into a dragon. Billy asked Milly, “Can we keep him or not?”

They took Wow Wow home to the forest, but during the night Peggy the Penguin came and stole Wow Wow away. Peggy the Penguin had magical ice powers. She froze the lake, the crocodiles, and Wow Wow.

Billy cried for an hour when he found Wow Wow had been dognapped. He told Milly, “We have to save Wow Wow!”

Milly changed into a purple flying cow. “We will have to go to the North Pole to save Wow Wow,” Milly told Billy.

While they were flying in the sky, Billy and Milly were attacked by a big, fat hawk, carrying corned beef on his head.

The corned beef landed on Milly’s head and she couldn’t see…
