Attracting ever greater numbers of submissions each year, the RHA Annual Exhibition is one of the country’s major artistic events. More than half the works on view are selected from that open submission by a panel of academicians.

Among the guest exhibitors is Eileen Cooper RA, renowned for her figurative, narrative paintings. She joins an impressive line-up of RHAs, including Alice Maher, Mick O’Dea, Carey Clarke, Martin Gale, Michael Quane, Richard Gorman, Eilis O’Connell, Michael Cullen (his Light Box, left) associate Una Sealy and many more.

All exhibitors are in the running for a prize fund now topping €50,000 and ranging across the categories of work on view: painting, sculpture, print, photography and architecture.

The year’s show has a longer running time, going right through to August 18. You won’t like everything, but you’re sure to find something that you like.
