CCA: Collective Contemporary Art

It’s a tough climate in which to try to sell work, but the Art Fair RDS is pressing ahead this weekend, and it’s augmented by CCA, an expanded version of last year’s exhibition of contemporary art.

CCA features a range of artists, some familiar and well established, others less familiar and emerging. They include Berlin-based Matthew Beattie, Sarah Jayne Booth, Cecilia Bullo, Elaine Byrne, Tony Gunning, Sean Hillen (his Boating on the Liffey, Dublin, Irelantis, above), Dragana Jurisic, Desmond Kenny, Fergal McCarthy (of the great Liffeytown project), Maureen O’Connor, Deirdre O’Mahony, Hazel Walker, Ian Wieczorek and many more. It’s well worth a visit.
