Cannabis worth €240,000 found in ‘clothes’ cargo at Dublin Airport

Revenue said 12kgs of herbal cannabis was discovered in consignment from United States

Cannabis worth an estimated €240,000 was seized by Revenue Officers at Dublin Airport on Monday.

The drugs were found concealed in an air cargo consignment described as ‘clothes’, that had arrived from the United States and was destined for an address in Dublin. In a statement, Revenue said 12kgs of herbal cannabis was discovered as a result of routine profiling

Revenue said its investigations are ongoing.
