Star Wars download

These aren't the downloads you're looking for. It's Star Wars, Jim, but not as we know it.

While fans rejoiced at finally being able to download all six (well, the original three) Star Wars films, Disney ownership really hits home when you press play: there is no 20th Century Fox fanfare.

If Disney finds our lack of faith disturbing,, then it shouldn’t have ripped our hearts out by removing the trumpeting sounds that heralded John Williams’s majestic score.

It is still satisfying for fans to finally have these digital downloads but don't expect the 1977 original: it's the 1997 version where Han Solo shoots second(ish). The Star Wars Digital Movie Collection is available on Xbox Video, Amazon and iTunes.
