The Republic of Ireland will take on Oman in a final warm-up for Martin O’Neill’s side before they embark on their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign in September.
With end-of-season friendlies already lined up against Turkey, Italy, Costa Rica and Portugal in the coming weeks, the FAI today confirmed that Oman will come to Dublin on Wednesday, September 3rd.
Ireland open their Euro 2016 campaign with trip to Georgia the following Sunday, with the Omani friendly allowing O’Neill a final preparation for that match.
