Two men from Co Louth have appeared in court charged in connection with seizures of cocaine and heroin with an estimated street value of €2 million.

Ciaran Boylan (34) from Rockfield Close in Ardee and Declan Hilliard (21) of Ferdia Park in Ardee appeared before Dublin District Court charged with possessing cocaine for sale or supply.

Both men were remanded in custody and will appear in court in Ardee next Thursday.

The men were arrested following drugs raids in Dublin, Louth and Meath yesterday and on Thursday.
