Harps failed to convert three early chances before Shay Zeller shot the home side in front after 16 minutes.

Stuart Byrne got Longford's second in the 59th minute, but four minutes later Shane Bradley's header brought Harps back into the contest.

Keith O'Connor restored Longford's two-goal advantage just 10 minutes from time. Zeller completed the rout in the last minute of normal time.
