Tiger Woods says he has learned from the mistakes he made at three of the four major championships last year. Woods won last year's US Masters, his first major as a professional, by a record 12 strokes, but did not challenge for the other three majors due to a string of disastrous holes.
"My game at those three tournaments was nowhere near as good as at the beginning of the year," said Woods. "My fundamentals got bad. With my speed, if you don't have the club in good position you're going to spray it a bit. "At the US Open I think I made a mistake not using my driver. I wasn't swinging the club well, so I hit a lot of two-irons off the tee. "I've got to play my own game. I made some stupid mistakes being too passive, not going for it, not believing it. I've learned from those experiences and I will apply them this year."
