Mount Temple, the Section A title holders, made their semi-final exit at the hands of a very well organised Wilson's Hospital side at Templeogue yesterday.
Wilson's had the wind at their backs in the first half. Centre Ryan Lyndsay kicked a 40-metre penalty and then they had the only try of the game when Aidan Finnan had all the pace needed to make it to the right corner. Lyndsay landed the conversion.
This lead proved enough in the end. Yet it seemed within reach for Mount Temple. Out-half Ian Kelly used the elements to drive the ball long during the second half but his only reward was a 55th minute penalty.
