MAGNERS LEAGUE: Ulster v Glasgow WarriorsMATT WILLIAMS has named a powerful Ulster frontrow in Justin Fitzpatrick, captain Rory Best and Brendon Botha to face Glasgow tonight in Belfast. The Australian coach, however, expects his team to step up a level having lost points to Newport Gwent Dragons.
Williams has asked his players to put in a performance after settling for below par last time out and having won just one of their last four matches.
“The individuals in the team have to take responsibility. I was very unhappy with our last performance,” said Williams. “We cannot talk our way out of it, or make excuses. We need a performance against Glasgow, and nothing but 100 per cent will do.”
Ulster Rugby academy player Ian Whitten moves up from the bench, where he started against Dragons to inside centre in place of Paul Steinmetz, who is still recovering from a shoulder injury. Darren Cave starts outside Whitten with Andrew Trimble on the wing. Irish scrumhalf Isaac Boss partners Ian Humphreys, while backrow Chris Henry retains his place.
