Paul Carley lobbed over four points in the opening seven minutes to set the trend of the game, and Rory Jacob scored a goal to help Wexford to a 1-12 to 0-2 half-time lead.
A second Wexford goal from Andrew Shore 10 minutes into the second half killed off the game as a contest.
