West Ham yesterday signed Southampton defender Richard Hall and Portuguese international striker Paulo Futre, then announced that three more new signings will arrive this week.
Futre, a free transfer capture from AC Milan, has signed a two-year contract with the Hammers with an option for a further year and joins a foreign legion at Upton Park which also includes Slaven Bilic, Marc Reiper, Ludek Miklosko, Ilie Dumitrescu Robbie Slater and Stan Lazarides.
Hall, 24, decided to quit Southampton after failing to agree new contract terms, and the fee for his services will be decided by a tribunal with Southampton demanding around £1.5 million.
