More skilful Wesley twice took the lead in the Minor final, with Steven Macken and man-of-the-match Neil Lyons finding the target after a scoreless first half. But Simon Greene and Richard Molloy replied for an undaunted King's Hospital side (with Graham Carleton to the fore) to bring the game into extra time before Wesley retained the trophy in a shoot-out.
