PREVIEW: THE NOEL Meade-Paul Carberry team are back in flying form, and Well Run can prove the point in today's three-and-a-half mile Powers Ulster Grand National at Downpatrick.

Well Run's New Year's Day victory at Fairyhouse was the last that Meade enjoyed for 50 days before last week's return to form, and this stamina test should be no problem for the seven-year-old.

Arbor Supreme's stamina is proven after a runner-up placing in the Punchestown National Trial, and Ruby Walsh travels north for the ride. Along with Dead Sound, he gives JP McManus a strong hand, but Well Run looks open to most improvement.

Walsh can make the journey worthwhile with Blaze Trailer in the two-and-a-quarter handicap hurdle, while short odds operators will be looking at the 119-rated My Valley in the mares novice hurdle.
