Blackburn's record signing, Kevin Davies, is set to line up alongside Chris Sutton. Darren Peacock and French midfielder Sebastien Perez are also poised for debuts. Coventry v Chelsea
Dion Dublin was injured against Espanol last weekend and David Burrows missed the match with a minor knee injury but the pair have been passed fit to play for Coventry. Philippe Clement is ruled out with a fractured cheekbone.
Danish striker Brian Laudrup is Chelsea's only doubt but may be fit to make his debut along with the club's three other summer signings - Marcel Desailly, Pierluigi Casiraghi and Albert Ferrer.

Everton v Aston Villa
Slaven Bilic (groin injury) is the only doubt for new Everton boss Walter Smith as he approaches his first game in the Premiership. New signings Alex Cleland, John Collins, Olivier Dacourt and Marco Materazzi are expected to make their debuts, and Scottish striker John Spencer will partner Duncan Ferguson up front.
Dwight Yorke will spearhead Villa's attack in the opening game of the season at Everton tomorrow. He will be joined in attack by Julian Joachim as £7million striker Stan Collymore is sidelined by a thigh strain.

Record £2 million signing Frank Sinclair goes straight into Leicester's starting line.

Middlesbrough v Leeds
Middlesbrough have fitness doubts over goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer, central defenders Gary Pallister and Gianluca Festa, and Paul Gascoigne. Central defender Steve Vickers is suspended while strikers Marco Branca and Alun Armstrong are ruled out through injury.
Leeds will be without last season's 22goal leading scorer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who is suspended, and defenders Gunnar Halle and Mark Jackson also serve one-match bans. Gary Kelly and Alan Maybury are both sidelined with shin injuries, and David Robertson is also out with a knee problem.

Clive Mendonca has shaken off a back injury and will lead the Charlton line. Welsh international defender Mark Bowen misses the trip north because of a groin injury he picked up in a friendly at Welwyn on Monday.

Southampton v Liverpool
New signings Mark Hughes and Stuart Ripley are both poised to make their Southampton debuts. Midfielder David Howells is also in contention for a first start at The Dell. But defender Francis Benali is beginning a four-match ban, while striker David Hirst is out until the start of next month with a knee injury.
Skipper Paul Ince (groin), plus new signings Steve Staunton (toe) and Vegard Heggem (back) are all expected to recover from injuries to be fit for Liverpool.
