GOALS FROM Richard Dullaghan and Liam Daniels helped Waterford advance to the semi final of the Munster junior football championship when they defeated Limerick by six points at Dungarvan yesterday.
Waterford led at half time by 1-4 to 1-2 thanks to Dullaghan's goal in the seventh minute, with Limerick's goal coming from Seamus Morrissey 10 minutes later.
The home side, thanks to two points from Michael Downey and one from Dullaghan, held a five point advantage as the game entered the closing quarter, but Limerick fought back with three points in as many minutes to cut the deficit to two before Daniels had Waterford's second goal eight minutes from time to ensure his side's safe passage to a semifinal meeting with Kerry.
