All-Ireland Women's football champions Waterford will stage their annual fundraising golf classic at West Waterford next weekend. Team manager Michael Ryan reports a great response from the public with over a hundred teams expected to take part from Friday to Sunday.

Aine Wall is reputedly the best golfer on the panel taking her sharp shooting skills from the full forward line to the golf course at Clonmel. The Brendan Martin Cup will be on display in the clubhouse during the Classic and once the final putt is struck, the focus will be very much back on football with Waterford beginning their title defence away to Clare on Sunday week.
