At this stage, I simply hope that they can once again adhere to the traditional philosophy of Monster rugby, which is encapsulated in the phrase that says 'it all else tails, use your brain".
This is an outstanding team. I think Peter Stringer is one of the most under-rated players for both Munster and Ireland. And then there's the excellent pack, where Mick Galwey leads the way. The Toulouse game was truly memorable. I was watching it in the Charlie St George, which is a strong Young Munster pub beside the station in Limerick. And after Jason Holland scored the intercepted try, which more or less sealed the win, this guy came over to me and said:'Now do you believe in God!'
It's already been a great, joyous achievement, and the fact that I come from Limerick makes it even better than the success of the Irish team. They have a great chance in this final and I expect them to win. They have the players to do it and are a very hard team to beat. I was half-thinking of going over forthe final but either way I'm certainly looking forward to it.
