Ulster have a number of injuries coming out of this weekend's charity match with English champions Leicester which is likely to leave some players unavailable for Friday's friendly with Coventry. Full-back Grant Henderson added further damage to a previous ankle injury and prop Clem Boyd and centre Ryan Constable both needed stitching that may keep them out of contention.

Paddy Johns and Jonathan Bell are still recovering from wrist and thumb operations respectively while Jan Cunningham's shoulder operation may cause him to miss the start of the season, which commences with the Interprovincial against Munster on September 1st. Dion O'Cuinneagain has already been ruled out for the entire season with a broken wrist.
