BASKETBALL:UCD MARIAN will be looking to make it a third consecutive win in the Nivea For Men's SuperLeague when they welcome a beleaguered UL Eagles outfit tomorrow night.

The students have got their season back on track with back-to-back wins over Belfast Star and Moycullen respectively, while Eagles have claimed just one win from their opening four games.

“The Limerick game this weekend is totally unpredictable because on paper they look like the team with an edge due to the new 6ft 10in Irish player Jason Killeen being available along with their American Johnnie Jefferson,” said UCD head coach Fran Ryan.

“I am surprised at their results and have no doubt there is a lot more in them than demonstrated to date and I just hope they will wait until after this weekend to prove the point.”
