THE Ascent Cup final at Anglesea Road yesterday was an all Ulster decider with the universities of Coleraine and Jordanstown contesting the final which for the most part has been dominated by Limerick over the competition's 10 year history.
International second row Jeremy Davidson proved the star attraction and was exceptional in the line out for Coleraine who surprisingly featured just two senior club players in their line up.
Coleraine made their presence tell in the pack in the first half and were worth every point of their 18-0 lead at half time.
